Frequently asked questions:
Q: Is aluminum less expensive compared to steel?
A: No. Aluminum is more expensive. Aluminum material is more expensive and the fabrication process is more time consuming.
Q: Do you install prefabricated railing systems?
A: We do not install prefab railing systems (like Viewrail which is assembled with screw joints), our work is fully welded together, is custom made to fit your space, and will not fall apart like a mechanically fastened railing would.
Q: Will you make a project for someone to install themselves?
A: We do not provide railings for others to install. Our work is custom made by us for us to install. Someone else installing the work would ultimately end up in us instructing them on how to install it. Which is not something we do for free, so it's best if we install it ourselves.
Q: Will you repair and reinstall my old railings?
A: Yes! In most cases we can repair and reinstall your old railings. This is mainly to make your old railings functional and stable. However, it is not to bring them up to current building code standards or to make them look brand new. If you want a new railing, you will have to buy a new railing.
Q: Will you repaint my old railings?
A: We do not repaint old metal work like railings or trellises, etc. A painting company would do this as long as the railings are not falling apart. They are usually well equipped to properly sand and repaint metal. In most cases though, if it is within your budget, your best choice is to just get new metal work fabricated and installed by us.
